Energy Auditing (E.P.C. – Household Buildings Program – Regulation of the Energy Performance of Buildings) Energy Performance Certificate (Leasing – Buying/Selling)

For all the new building leases and property buying or selling, for new or completely renovated buildings and for participating in the Household Buildings Program is required an Energy Performance Certificate.

An Energy Performance Certificate is given to the owner of the property if he presents all the necessary documents to the energy inspector during the energy audit at the building.

CASE I: BUILDING PERMITS ISSUED BEFORE 1980

     1. Floor plan of the property
     2. Electricity bill
     3. Land registry number
     4. Boiler maintenance checklist (if any)
     5. Owner’s details (TIN, Address, Tax Office, Phone number)
     6. Property contract
     7. Access to the central boiler (mainly for houses )

CASE II: BUILDING PERMITs VALID FROM 1980 TO 1985

     1. Residential building permit
     2. Floor plan of the property
     3. Topographic plan (if any)
     4. Thermal Insulation Handbook (for buildings constructed after the ’80s / the first 10            pages of the handbook)
     5. Electricity bill
     6. Land registry number
     7. Boiler maintenance checklist (if any)
     8. Owner’s details (TIN, Address, Tax Office, Phone number)
     9. Property contract
   10. Access to the central boiler (mainly for houses)

CASE III: BUILDING PERMITS AFTER 1985
     1. Residential building permit
     2. Floor plan of the property
     3. Topographic plan
     4. Thermal insulation Handbook (the first 10 pages of the handbook)
     5. Cost allocation table (residential buildings with three floors or more)
     6. Electricity bill
     7. Land registry number
     8. Boiler maintenance checklist (if any)
     9. Owner’s details (Last name, First name, Profile, TIN, Phone number)
   10. Property contract
   11. Access to the central boiler (mainly for houses)

The Energy Performance Certificate Buildings is valid for 10 years.
