Green agro-tourism - Vouzounerakis

Target is:

The strengthening of the competitiveness and the recognizability of the products in the markets through their placement in points of attraction of visitors - tourists and the development of experiential agritourism actions.
The integration of innovation processes and the use of new technologies but also environmentally friendly processes, which reduce the phenomenon of climate change.
Sustainable local development and more efficient management of natural resources.


Beneficiaries are:

All legal entities are either owned by SMEs or large companies, without prejudice to the more specific provisions of the applicable specific article of the GAC.
legal entities to be set up, completing the set-up procedures before the individual aid approval decision is issued,
Excludes persons operating in the form of a civil law company, with the exception of Social Cooperative Enterprises and consortia.

With regard to accommodation, the establishment of the following functional types of accommodation under the following terms, conditions and restrictions is hereby strengthened:
a) Classic type hotels of 5, 4 or 3 stars, with a minimum capacity of 10 rooms and 20 beds,
b) Hotels with furnished rooms of 5 or 4 stars, with a minimum capacity of 30 beds,
c) Rooms for rent 4 keys, minimum capacity 5 rooms and 10 beds,
d) Furnished apartments for rent 4 keys, minimum capacity 5 rooms and 10 beds
e) Tourist furnished houses individually or in a row or in a complex, single-storey or two-storey detached houses that have independent operation, independent external access each and privacy, of minimum dimensions:
aa) single rooms 40 sq.m.
bb) two main areas of 60 sq.m.

 

Eligibility criteria
1. Maturity of Investment Plan (existence of own participation)
2. Legal recommendation of the beneficiary (certificates according to legal form)
3. Green transition, where at least one of the following actions is required:
a) Investments in building installations to achieve a higher energy efficiency factor.
b) Investments in mechanical equipment with reduced energy consumption.
c) Procurement of vehicles of the highest, available standard for measuring emissions, as applicable to each category of vehicles.
d) Investments in RES
e) Investments in infrastructure that contribute to water savings.
f) Investments in mechanical equipment that contributes to water savings.
4. Implementation of an experiential agritourism plan, which includes at least actions:
a) Promotion of local gastronomy.
b) Promotion of local cultural heritage through agricultural activities.
c) Liaison with local companies and agencies.
5. Sustainability of the investment according to the acceptable limits of the selected performance indicators in the submitted feasibility study

 

Eligible costs

Construction or modernization of real estate.
Configuration of the surrounding area in order to serve the needs of the unit.
Purchase, transport and installation of equipment, including laboratory equipment to the extent that it serves the operation of the unit.
Expenses for computer equipment of the enterprise (such as purchase of telephone installations, intercommunication networks, computers and peripherals, photocopiers, installation security systems, fire protection systems installations), expenses for remote and intelligent installation of tele-installation and which leads to digital business upgrades.
Expenditure on ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities.
Intangible costs such as software acquisition and patents, intellectual property licenses, trademarks (including investments in digital business upgrades) / Technical specifications and product design / Market research / Corporate identity & branding etc. (logos etc.) .) / Design of promotions and material for companies and products. In addition, it is eligible to obtain quality assurance certificates from competent organizations (such as ISO, HACCP, BRC GlobalStandards, IFS FoodStandard, GLOBALG.A.P, etc.) which ensure the consumer the quality and safety of the food he consumes.

The investments in RES, including solar energy, will be based on a relevant study of energy requirements and in which an analysis is made of the percentage of coverage of the operating needs of the beneficiary's company. Based on this study, the way of energy substitution is analyzed and the efficiency of the investment of substitution of energy needs from RES (kWh of produced energy of RES system / euro investment is evaluated).
